Therapeutic Approach

I have found is that no matter what a person is going through, they hold within them the strength to get through it. Many times this strength may be hidden, or not yet realized, and starting a journey in therapy may be the answer for many to accessing one’s strengths.

In my practice as a counselor and art therapist I enjoy helping others to rediscover and develop their inner strengths as well as find ways cope with symptoms or life stressors. I believe in the life enhancing properties of the creative arts and often, but not always, involve the creative process in sessions. I have professional experience in creating new art therapy programs for different organizations and with these experiences I have become practiced in adapting services to best suit the needs of each unique individual.
